Smart is the gateway for information coming into a business, providing automatic classification for documents and delivery to the correct destination.

Smart transforms all incoming information, whether paper-based scanned documents or digital-based formats into electronic images. This includes semi-structured documents such as invoices and purchase orders, and unstructured documents including letters, contracts, memos, etc., including handwritten letters or information. Smart then delivers the images to the correct person or location in the company based on rules and keywords applied to the content.

Document classification is completed automatically according to the textual information extracted from the document. Smart can handle both handwritten and printed text, and deal with any kind of incoming information.

Based on supervised learning, Smart can automatically analyse any incoming information and defines common denominators which then enables documents to be separated into classes and delivered to specific targets within the business with no human intervention or coding.

Supervised learning ensures maximum flexibility of the system. Adding a new class (a new category of documents to be delivered to a specific area within the business) is easily and automatically done, and does not affect the existing definitions of the system.
